Glenlivet 15 Years Old French Oak Reserve matures for at least 15 years in French Limousin oak barrels.
The Limousin oak barrels used for the aging process come from the Dordogne region in France.
These barrels are often used for Cognacs. Due to the low density, the whisky can sink deep into the wood, the result is a unique pleasant spice.
