Holiday cocktails are great and this year, why not switch your usual holiday cocktail for coconut and lime flavoured margarita?

Margaritas originated from Mexico and is a cocktail consisting of tequila, orange liqueur, and lime juice and often served with salt on the rim of the glass. They are usually served shaken with ice, blended with ice, or without ice.

This cocktail is refreshing and takes little to no time to make for your guests!

SERVING: 6 cups

Ingredients: 

  • 396 grams can unsweetened coconut milk
  • 340 grams silver tequila
  • 226 grams triple sec
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 4 cups ice
  • lime wedge (for rimming the glass)
  • sanding sugar (for rimming the glass)
  • lime slices (for garnish)
  • cranberries (for garnish)

Directions

  1. Combine coconut milk, tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and ice in a blender and blend until smooth
  2. Rim glasses with lime wedge and dip in sanding sugar
  3. Pour the concoction into the glass and garnish with lime and cranberries
